We accept Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express, Arcadia Group Store cards and PayPal.
If you have paid on your credit, debit or charge card you, will only be charged once the goods have been dispatched to the delivery address. We will email you to confirm dispatch.
The prices shown on our website include any VAT (or similar sales tax) at the prevailing rate for which we are responsible as the seller. The amount you pay will be the price indicated plus any delivery charges. Please note that the recipient of any products shipped outside the European Union may also have to pay import duty or other taxes, fees and charges applied by customs or other authorities in the country of receipt. If you are unsure about whether these charges might apply to your order, you should contact your local tax or customs authorities.
The actual price charged to overseas customers will be subject to the exchange rate applied by the customer's credit or debit card company. Customers outside the United Kingdom will also be liable for any import duty, quotas, permits, product restrictions and other local requirements. You are advised to check the latest applicable local requirements before placing an order.
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to, or does not for any reason, authorise payment then you will be notified of this immediately at the check-out stage.
In assessing your request for goods or services, we may use your information for the purposes of the prevention and detection of fraud. One of the purposes for which we may disclose your address and postcode details is to check against the IMRG Security Alert or any other Fraud Prevention Scheme. At all times where we disclose your information it will remain secure. If you believe your details are incorrect you may correct those details by following the procedure set out in our privacy policy.
We are working together with Visa and MasterCard to offer you a safer shopping experience when using your credit card online.
Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode follow the same principles as Chip and Pin, by helping to protect your card against unauthorised use when you shop via the Internet.
If your bank or card issuer is already a part of this scheme, then you might have already noticed the Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode page appear when you made a purchase with a participating retailer on the Internet.
If your bank is yet to introduce this security measure, then the following information will explain how it works and the added protection benefits of registering.
Online Protection Benefits:
How it works: When you reach the checkout process at dorothyperkins.com (or any participating retailer) you will have the opportunity to register for either Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode. Simply sign-up for the service following the online instructions that are linked directly to your card issuer, set up your new personal password once your card issuer has confirmed your identity, and continue shopping.
This is a one-off registration process, so you will be able to use the same password for afll future purchases you make with participating retailers.
Alternatively you can contact your bank directly to register, or visit Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode for more information.
Please note: If you choose not to register during the checkout process, depending on your card issuer, we may not be able to process your order. A different method of payment will be required to complete your purchase.
It’s easy to pay with a gift card online. Just click on ‘Use a gift card’ in the payment section and enter your gift card PIN number and security code, which can be found on the back of your card.
Up to five gift cards can be used on one order. You can also split payment between a gift card and another payment source (eg. Visa Debit or Paypal) - we will calculate the remaining balance for you once you have entered your gift card PIN number and security code, so all you need to do is fill in your card or Paypal details as usual.
However, please note that if you have enough funds on your gift card to cover your total order cost including delivery, you will not be able to use split payment.
Returns when paying with gift cards online
Always remember to hold on to your gift card when you order in case you need to make a return, as the money will automatically be refunded to the same card. If you have lost or discarded your card and wish to make a return, please click here to contact our customer services.
Orders paid for using split payment (part gift card, part card or Paypal) will always refund the gift card first. Any remaining balance will be paid back to the card or Paypal account used. This excludes delivery costs, which are non-refundable.
We guarantee to refund any item you are not completely happy with when you return it to us in saleable condition within 14 days of receipt. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment.
For hygiene reasons, we cannot offer refunds on pierced jewellery, underwear or swimwear if the hygiene seal has been removed, or cosmetic products if they have been used or the hygiene seal is broken, unless they are of unsatisfactory quality or unfit for purpose. This may not apply if there is a fault with your item. Please note, cosmetics and all items that are part of our concession brand collections can only be returned to our website. Our stores will be unable to return these items for you.
Returns are simple and easy. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, you can return it free of charge within 14 days of receipt via the following three methods:
- At a convenient drop point, provided by Collect+
- By post
- To your local Dorothy Perkins store (within 28 days of receipt)
For more information on the above returns methods, please click on the relevant tab above.
WHAT ABOUT MY DELIVERY CHARGE?

We will also refund the delivery charges if you are an EU customer cancelling your purchase within the 7 day cooling off period.
Details of the refunds procedure will also be sent to you with your order. Please contact Customer Services.
In addition to our returns policy, under the Distance Selling Regulations you can cancel your order at any time before the expiry of the period of seven working days beginning the day following receipt of your order (unless it is a purchase of financial services, food, drink or other perishable products; DVDs, CDs or software which have been unsealed; magazines; or tailor-made / customised products). Order cancellations must be made in writing to Customer Services quoting your order number. If you cancel your order under the Distance Selling Regulations, we will refund the purchase price of the item(s) affected and the delivery charges. We guarantee to refund any item purchased on dorothyperkins.com that you are not completely happy with when you return it to us in a saleable condition within 14 days of receipt. International dorothyperkins.com purchases can only be returned by post. Dorothy Perkins stores outside of the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland currently do not offer refunds or exchanges on any dorothyperkins.com purchases, without exception. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment. In the interests of hygiene we do not offer refunds on pierced jewellery or underwear or swimwear if the hygiene seal has been removed unless they are of unsatisfactory quality or unfit for purpose. Please also note that items must be returned with all barcode tags intact.
In addition to our returns policy, under the Distance Selling Regulations EU customers have seven working days (beginning the day after receipt) to cancel your purchase (unless it is a purchase of financial services, food, drink or other perishable products; DVDs, CDs or software which have been unsealed; magazines; or tailor-made / customised products). In this case, we will provide a full refund but you must return the cancelled items to us. If we do not receive the cancelled items back, we may arrange to collect them from you at your cost.
If you are a French, German or US customer and decide to start shopping on one of our new, dedicated sites, your log in details will remain the same. Unfortunately, you will only be able to access your past orders from our UK site so if you need to make a return, please remember this. If you’re still having problems, please contact our customer services team.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer order tracking on international orders at this time. However, when we despatch your order, we will send you an email to confirm this.
Most orders will be delivered by your national postal service and so will arrive with your regular mail. If you are not home when the delivery is made, a notice card will be left by the postal service to advise on how your delivery can be collected.
Larger orders will be delivered by a local courier who will attempt to deliver your order 3 times or leave with a neighbour. They will leave a notice card after each delivery attempt. Please follow the instructions on this card to collect your order or arrange redelivery.
Please note we cannot cancel an order or change a delivery address once the parcel has been despatched.
When customers buy our goods, we want them to be confident that they have been produced under acceptable conditions. That means the goods must have been produced:

The UK's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations came into effect in July 2007.
So that you can get your waste electrical goods recycled, Arcadia have contributed towards a national fund to assist local councils to develop their electrical waste collection facilities.
Not all council sites are suitable to collect all types of waste electrical goods but to find out the nearest participating site and for advice on all aspects of recycling at home, please visit www.recycle-more.co.uk. Don't forget to have your postcode ready to use in the 'recycling facilities' locator.
Electronic waste is one of the fastest growing waste streams and much of it can be recycled and resources recovered to make new consumer goods.
To remind consumers of the collection methods available which in turn allow recycling to take place, all electrical items sold now carry the 'crossed out wheeled bin' symbol. To ensure your waste electronics don't contribute to damaging the environment, please use www.recycle-more.co.uk and recycle today.

Established over 90 years ago, Dorothy Perkins is now one of the biggest fashion retailers in the country, with nearly 600 UK stores and over 50 international outlets.
Dorothy Perkins' ranges are updated weekly in store and daily online. The brand offers sizes 6 to 22, and a wide range of collections including Tall, Petite, Maternity, Lingerie, Shoes and Accessories.
Dorothy Perkins provides affordable, feminine fashion and a shopping experience customers clearly love - a jersey top is sold every two seconds and the store has won numerous awards for its collections.
For the past three years Dorothy Perkins has supported Breast Cancer Care, during which it's raised over £2 million for people affected by breast cancer. In 2007 Dorothy Perkins formed a partnership with the Woodland Trust, and since then has raised enough to plant over 100,000 trees in the UK.
With an age range of 25 - 40 years, Dorothy Perkins has the widest customer base of all our brands. The average Dorothy Perkins customer is in her early thirties and she's likely to be a busy mum or working woman.
She loves fashion and takes a close interest in the new trends, but often doesn't feel able to carry off some of the latest looks. She's not always confident about her body, and doesn't always know what suits her, so Dorothy Perkins gives her fashion inspiration and advice. Quality, fit and price are all important to her.
Here at Dorothy Perkins we're proud of our great British heritage. As the country's developed over the last 100 years, so have we...here are a few of our favourite milestones:
Dorothy Perkins begins life as Ladies Hosiery and Underwear Limited.
At the tail end of the Edwardian era, fashion is very segmented. Society ladies favour the glamorous 'Belle Epoque' look with it's S shape silhouette, corsets and voluptuous long skirts. The middle classes wear long skirts and high collared blouses with pins or ties, and the less well off wear shawls and simple, homemade clothes.
Dorothy Perkins expands to 12 shops. The impressively priced five-shilling (25 pence) blouses and range of knitwear are introduced, laying the foundations of the Dorothy Perkins value for money proposition.
The 'roaring twenties' or 'jazz age' begin. So too does one of fashion's most glorious decades. The Flapper girl is born - hair is short and sleek as are dresses. Now the bra has been invented it's worn mostly to flatten the chest, giving wearers the fashionable boyish shape.
Hollywood arrives! As the movies take off so too does our enduring obsession with film stars and their wardrobes. Dresses become more streamlined, elegant and reach the floor as we try to emulate Hollywood icons such as Mae West and their hourglass figures.
Edward VIII abdicates to marry Wallis Simpson and they go on to become one of the most stylish couples of the decade. Wallis is credited with the adage 'a woman can never be too rich or too thin'.

Mary Quant introduces the miniskirt which becomes so loved that the British Society for the Preservation for Mini Skirts is formed. Op Art black and white patterns are big, as too is the flower power hippy look. The only real style choices for men are the designer suits of the mods or the leather look of the rockers.

The decade that taste forgot becomes the decade fashion refuses to get over as we continue returning to things like leg warmers, T shirt dresses, and power dressing.
